Overview
The Information Technology Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting project management processes within a public sector organisation. Working closely with project teams, managed service providers, and stakeholders, the contractor will maintain application upgrade trackers, produce reports, and oversee user acceptance testing. This role focuses on ensuring quality assurance and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle, enhancing the overall delivery of IT projects.
Responsibilities
- Maintain application upgrade trackers and status reports.
- Update records based on information supplied by the Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Produce regular progress reports and dashboards.
- Escalate overdue actions and missing updates.
- Review information received from MSPs and the organisation for completeness and consistency.
- Coordinate responses from appropriate contributors for FOI requests.
- Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing activities.
- Monitor deadlines and track outstanding inputs.
Requirements
- Experience in project coordination or PMO support.
- Familiarity with testing and user acceptance testing coordination.
- Knowledge of quality assurance administration processes.
- Skilled in data validation, tracking, and reporting.
- Ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies, and actions.
- Experience in governance meeting and documentation support.
- Understanding of application, systems, or technology change environments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage complex delivery activities.
