Overview
The Information Technology Risk Manager will serve as a Technology Resilience Lead within an organization focused on major technology transformation initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various technical teams to evaluate and enhance resilience measures across critical technology platforms, including Cloud and Networks. The contractor will play a key role in identifying vulnerabilities, conducting recovery tests, and ensuring compliance with resilience standards, while also managing stakeholder communications effectively.
Responsibilities
- Drive technology resilience and disaster recovery improvements across critical services.
- Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, Network, and Engineering teams to identify and remediate resilience gaps.
- Review recovery plans, runbooks, service dependencies, and RTO/RPO requirements.
- Coordinate resilience and recovery testing, ensuring actions are driven to completion.
- Support audits and risk reviews, providing evidence of compliance with resilience requirements.
- Identify resilience weaknesses and facilitate remediation efforts with technical teams.
- Engage in stakeholder management, challenging and escalating risks as necessary.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Technology Resilience, IT Resilience, or Disaster Recovery.
- Good technical understanding of Cloud, Infrastructure, and enterprise technology environments.
- Experience with disaster recovery, recovery testing, RTO/RPO, and service dependencies.
- Proven ability to identify resilience gaps and drive remediation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the capability to challenge and escalate risks.
- Experience in large, complex, or regulated environments is advantageous.
