Overview
This initial 6-month contract role for a React Native Developer offers the opportunity to work on a large enterprise project in its early development phases. The contractor will play a critical role in technical decision-making and architecture while collaborating closely with product, UX/UI, and backend engineering teams to create high-quality, scalable mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance cross-platform mobile apps using React Native.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Contribute to technical decision-making and architecture within the team.
- Ensure high-quality code and application performance, security, and architecture standards are met.
- Integrate backend services and work with REST APIs.
- Utilize Git for version control and follow CI/CD practices in development.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience in relevant technologies.
- Strong React Native development experience, particularly in enterprise applications.
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages.
- Experience in deploying applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, performance, and security principles.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and backend service integration.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD processes, and Agile methodologies.
