Overview
The Senior Project Manager will lead governance and delivery for performance and service management within a technology delivery environment, overseeing the integration of various teams and vendor partners. This role is responsible for maintaining an accurate performance metrics framework, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring on-time project completion while collaborating with diverse stakeholders and teams. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive project management experience and strong knowledge of tools like Jira and Power BI to drive successful outcomes in a remote-first working arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery plan for evolving the performance and service management framework, including reporting integration and governance site build.
- Run governance cadence with stakeholders to track progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
- Manage the onboarding of new teams and vendors into a standard metric and SLA set, ensuring proper coordination and Jira updates.
- Maintain a RAID log and escalation route for addressing data quality and vendor compliance issues.
- Act as the point of coordination with vendor account managers to manage performance against agreed SLAs.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders to facilitate smooth communications and reporting.
- Direct contributions from the development team and coordinate workstreams to ensure timely delivery.
- Drive multiple workstreams to completion, proactively addressing potential risks and resource dependencies.
Requirements
- Proven background in programme or senior project management with structured governance experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Jira and Jira Align at a power or super user level.
- Experience managing vendor performance and enforcing SLAs with tier-1 partners.
- Demonstrated capability in coordinating delivery across diverse teams within a unified governance structure.
- Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to build quick credibility.
- Experience with Agile methodology at scale and its interaction with programme governance.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar dashboarding tools.
- Experience integrating financial data into project reporting tools.
