Overview
We are seeking a skilled Storage Engineer with expertise in automation and infrastructure-as-code to join a technical team focused on the delivery and optimization of enterprise storage infrastructure. The role involves hands-on responsibilities including automating the provisioning of storage and ensuring services are production-ready while collaborating with both internal teams and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Automate the provisioning and configuration of enterprise storage environments.
- Develop and maintain Terraform-based pipelines for efficient storage deployment.
- Build and support self-service workflows for storage provisioning.
- Integrate storage processes with internal forms and API-driven workflows.
- Collaborate with storage platform vendors and engineering teams to address integration challenges.
- Support the onboarding of storage services into production.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and storage availability issues.
- Conduct storage validation and performance testing to ensure operational readiness.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a Storage Engineer or Storage Infrastructure Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with VAST Data or comparable enterprise storage platforms.
- Proficient in Terraform, especially in developing and integrating pipelines.
- Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- Good understanding of storage provisioning, mounts, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with API integrations and automated/self-service workflows.
- Experience in testing storage environments and validating performance metrics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
