Overview
As a Unit4 FP&A Systems Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and optimization of Unit4 FP&A systems over an initial 3-month contract. Collaborating closely with clients, you will translate financial requirements into effective system solutions throughout the entire implementation lifecycle. This position requires hands-on experience with Unit4 FP&A and offers flexibility in work hours, whether full-time or part-time, in a fully remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure Unit4 FP&A solutions.
- Translate finance and business requirements into system functionality.
- Run discovery and solution design workshops.
- Configure budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting, and consolidation processes within Unit4 FP&A.
- Produce functional specifications and system documentation.
- Support testing, deployment, and user adoption.
- Integrate Unit4 FP&A with ERP and reporting platforms.
- Identify opportunities for system and process improvement.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Unit4 FP&A.
- Previous experience delivering finance systems implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting, and consolidation from a systems perspective.
- Experience gathering requirements and converting them into system designs or configurations.
- Strong client-facing workshop and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within a consultancy or professional services environment.
- Familiarity with Unit4 ERP, financial data structures, data integration, Power BI, or SQL is advantageous.
