Overview
We are seeking a skilled Finance Business Analyst to facilitate an RFP and supplier selection process for a new finance solution. This hybrid role will engage with finance, procurement, technology, and operational teams to gather requirements, map processes, and assess supplier proposals. The contractor will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of the selected solution, working closely with multiple stakeholders to drive the project forward.
Responsibilities
- Gather and prioritize finance requirements, process pain points, and control needs.
- Map current processes and define functional, data, reporting, and service requirements for the RFP.
- Develop evaluation criteria, demo scenarios, and scoring tools to evaluate suppliers.
- Assess solution fit, costs, integrations, data migration, risks, and change impacts.
- Present evidence-based recommendations and assist in creating a mobilisation plan for the selected proposal.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Analyst in fast-paced retail environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting RFPs or competitive tenders for finance systems or outsourced finance services.
- Ability to elicit, document, and prioritize finance requirements across various areas.
- Experience in developing evaluation criteria and scoring models for supplier assessments.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and influence outcomes.
- Ability to operate effectively across multiple business functions.
