Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst with expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to support a major transformation program. In this hands-on contract role, you will collaborate with operational teams to analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement measurable improvements. The position requires on-site presence in Leeds four days a week, with one day available for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end process analysis across multiple business functions, mapping workflows and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and enhance operational performance.
- Facilitate workshops and root-cause analysis sessions to gather insights and validate findings.
- Develop data-driven recommendations and business cases for process changes.
- Support the design and implementation of new processes aligned with business goals.
- Track and report on improvement outcomes, KPIs, and benefits realization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Technology, and Change Management.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst or similar role within complex organizations.
- Strong background in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; Black Belt certification highly desirable.
- Demonstrable experience delivering measurable process improvements.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
- Skilled in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Miro).
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
