Overview
The Project Engineer will support project management efforts on a pharmaceuticals site, coordinating and managing a portfolio of small projects. Working closely with existing client engineers and stakeholders, the role focuses on delivering projects on time and within budget while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety practices. The engineer will also act as a client representative during discussions with third-party vendors and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate project activities and manage assigned projects.
- Ensure engineering documentation is created and maintained.
- Act as a client representative in meetings with third-party vendors.
- Manage third-party contractors and provide input into process design and installation.
- Collaborate with other client departments to offer technical support as required.
- Develop engineering standards that support project delivery.
- Contribute to other responsibilities as needed within the project engineering role.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a project engineer on multiple pharmaceutical projects.
- Knowledge of industry practices, procedures, and safety measures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a multi-disciplined engineering team.
- Strong leadership skills to challenge and collaborate with technical engineers and project stakeholders.
