Overview
This role seeks a Transformation Director to lead a significant transformation programme within the Discovery function of a life sciences organization on a 12-month contract basis. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior leadership to align strategy with organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective governance and measurable outcomes through various transformation projects. This position requires a strong leader with extensive experience in managing complex transformations and stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to translate strategy into a clear transformation roadmap.
- Lead development of future-state business architecture and operating models.
- Establish and oversee a portfolio of strategic transformation initiatives.
- Drive organisational design and process transformation efforts.
- Develop frameworks and metrics to ensure transformation success.
- Manage transformation governance, including risks and dependencies.
- Collaborate with HR and Communications to support change management.
- Challenge existing models to enhance effectiveness and performance.
Requirements
- Significant leadership experience in enterprise-wide transformation.
- Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into implementation plans.
- Expertise in operating model design and business architecture.
- Extensive experience in programme and portfolio management.
- Background in delivering transformation across people, process, technology, and governance.
- Experience working with Executive Committees and senior stakeholders.
- Strong financial and organisational acumen.
- Experience in mission-led organisations is preferred.
