Overview
The Program Manager will take a hands-on role in overseeing delivery performance metrics and governance systems, managing technology delivery across various portfolios. This position involves close collaboration with Tribe Heads and tier-1 vendor account managers, ensuring the accuracy and expansion of the delivery plan while operating directly in Jira and Jira Align. The contractor will support operational capabilities and drive performance improvements through effective governance and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery plan for evolving the performance and service management framework, including SharePoint site builds and extended Jira Align reporting.
- Establish and maintain governance cadence with leadership and development teams, including the RAID log and escalation pathways.
- Onboard new teams and vendors to the standard metrics and SLA sets, managing any necessary dashboard changes in Jira.
- Monitor and enforce SLAs with tier-1 vendors through structured reviews and effectively address claimed exceptions.
- Generate reporting artifacts and steering slides directly in Jira, enabling real-time governance oversight.
- Collaborate with financial teams to integrate budget and finance data into Jira for enhanced reporting capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management applied to live operational capabilities, not just discrete builds.
- Hands-on experience producing governance artifacts without direct reports, demonstrating independent execution.
- Advanced skills in Jira and Jira Align, including configuration and customization of reporting tools.
- Experience in vendor performance management with tier-1 partners.
